Pendle Witch on Whalley Road, and the White Hart Inn, on Padiham Road, are our local village pubs providing a range of beers and guest beers.

There are Baptist and Methodist chapels in the village, with services shared
with other communities.
Sabden has an excellent crown green bowling club that welcomes visitors. There is a children's play ground and football ground in the middle of the village near to Sabden Brook where youngsters - and parents - can paddle. We have football and cricket teams, active church-linked social groups, tea dances, and many other village events.
Clitheroe is served by Barclays, HSBC, Nat West, Lloyds TSB and Yorkshire Banks.
Sabden's post office, in the newsagents, has the usual national bank services.
Sabden Health Centre is in the middle of the village. It is part of Whalley Medical Practice.
There is a big health centre at Clitheroe.
Whalley and Clitheroe have private and NHS dental practices.

Bus and Train
The nearest Railway Station is at Whalley where there is also a Bus Station. There is a bus stop by our farm road entrance, with buses every hour either to Whalley/Clitheroe or to Burnley (and to all points of the compass).
Clitheroe Interchange has train and bus stations next to each other.
